Welcome

Change is not always easy. It takes courage and honesty to realize that we can't always do everything by ourselves. If you’re considering psychotherapy, you're taking a step toward making your life a better place—a place where you want to live. You may have been considering therapy but are unsure if you really need it. Or, you may not be used to asking for help. I find that many people who seek out therapy, are in fact the ones who often give care to others. That means that taking the first step can be difficult. But ultimately, it's up to you to make these changes. And when we take that sort of responsibility, it's incredibly rewarding.

I specialize in working with people who may be experiencing:

  • Depression and/or mood disorder (including postpartum depression)

  • Guilt, shame, impostor syndrome, or perfectionism

  • Anxiety (including social anxiety and panic attacks)

  • Aftermath from recent or past trauma including sexual abuse

  • Feeling stuck in patterns, in your career, relationships, or creatively

  • Unresolved family issues

  • Struggles in relationships

  • Grief and loss

  • Repetition of unhealthy or destructive patterns or behaviors

  • Oppression from institutionalized marginalization

  • Substance abuse

  • A sense that you give too much to others and not enough to yourself
